Eurasian Cuisine

I have a passion for food and I love to cook for my family and friends. I have created a food blog to combine my two favorite types of cuisine: European (particularly Mediterranean) and Asian, thus “Eurasian Cuisine”. By combining these two cuisines, I hope to create new and delicious flavors with a mixture of different tastes, ingredients and cooking techniques. Mediterranean and Asian food are very healthy because their diet mostly consists of fish, poultry, vegetables, and whole grains. They rarely eat red meat and the meals aren’t saturated with high fats and bad carbs.

On my cooking adventures, I want to share with you my discoveries, mouth-watering recipes, and food photography. I use a Canon Rebel XSi to take my food shots. I currently use two lens, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II and Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM. All content and photographs are my own work. Although I have no experience in culinary or photography, I’m learning as I go. My recipes can come from different resources such as cookbooks, magazines, Food Network channel, websites, family recipes or my own creations.

Another reason I started a food blog is to organize my recipes and to keep track of my success and failures. Not only do I enjoy cooking, baking and eating. I love to dine out and try new eateries. Expect to see my commentary and restaurant reviews as well!
